Enhancing Peacebuilding Capacities at the Local Level

Description: Governance Insights supported local peacebuilding initiatives in conflict-affected regions of Somalia by providing technical assistance and capacity-building support to local peace committees and community leaders. We facilitated dialogue sessions, mediation processes, and conflict resolution workshops aimed at addressing underlying grievances and building sustainable peace. Through our efforts, several communities were able to resolve conflicts peacefully, prevent escalation of violence, and establish mechanisms for ongoing dialogue and reconciliation, laying the groundwork for long-term stability and peacebuilding.
