Strengthening Local Governance in Rural Communities

Description: Governance Insights partnered with local authorities and community leaders in rural areas of Somalia to strengthen local governance structures and improve service delivery. Through a series of capacity-building workshops, training sessions, and participatory planning exercises, we empowered community members to actively participate in decision-making processes and advocate for their needs. As a result of the project, several communities saw improvements in access to essential services such as water, sanitation, and education, leading to enhanced social cohesion and improved quality of life.
